The Padres have Musgrove, Darvish and possibly Martinez, Lugo and Wacha under contract for 2024 already, couple that with the fact they'll be trying to extend Soto I think Snell won't be a high priority

It's not just the schedule though, it's also the fact that you're directly competing against them in the division standings that nurtures the rivalry

Don't have an exhaustive list but Estevan Florial strikes me as someone who probably won't fit on the Yankees' roster but has enough upside to do well if given the opportunity

The only way I could see intradivision for teams in the same city is if they went to Eastern and Western Conferences like the NBA. What are the chances they'd abandon the National and American leagues?

In November and December, I’d come here and read about 9-figure deals, and MVPs and Cy Young winners changing teams. Now it’s mostly minor league deals and DFA’s. What happened to the MLBTR magic? Will it ever return? Do premium subscribers still see such exciting headlines?
