i haven't heard any whispers about a replacement for Dodger Stadium.  With all the history there, I suspect that'll be a building that is just heavily renovated over the years, rather than ever actually replaced

I don't think all three things will happen, but you can't rule it out with pitchers in their 30's.

Colorado makes a lot of sense as a potential Stroman suitor.  His grounder-heavy arsenal plays well at Coors, especially with Arenado and Story scooping up those ground balls

No doubt the Jays have broached the subject.  But some young players take these early extensions to lock in a big payday, so they'll lock in financial security for the rest of their lives.  The Jays can't really dangle that as an incentive for Vlad Jr. since his dad already has millions in the bank.

There's nothing they can do, aside from just hope he snaps out of his funk.  I doubt he'll hit 40+ homers again, but if he hits well enough to regain just a slight amount of trade value, the O's would take it

Maybe not 500 homers, since the ball is still flying out of the park at a big rate.  But I don't see too many 3000-hit candidates on the horizon

Since Didi will only play maybe half the season, I'd stay away from a long-term extension if I'm NYY.  If he only puts up okay numbers when he returns, I offer him a one-year deal (maybe between his 2019 salary and the qualifying offer) for 2020 as sort of a pillow deal so he can regain value.

Padres/Angels aren't a great trade fit since both need the same thing (starting pitching)

He signed a FA contract, not an extension.  And hang on, you're worried about a Lorenzo Cain trade just over a year into that deal, after Cain's awesome 2018 season?  Hold your horses there, bud
