you can keep both if you have deep enough rosters to do so
11:39
but Baldwin's value will continue to ebb/flow depending on how many LHPs on our the schedule, making him hard to rely on as more than a back-up/fill-in
Rae
11:39
Is Robert figuring it out? I assume we hold him at least until we see what happens at the deadline?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:39
yeah, gotta hold him at this point
11:40
been fairly awesome since returning from IL
lemme check

Good morning Nick, thanks for the platform, Am I stuck in the minors for the rest of the year or be included in a trade package at the deadline knowing Boston may have to eat most of my contract
Nicklaus Gaut
11:41
either of those scenarios is probably more likey than you making an Impact on Boston's major league roster this season
Pete
11:42
Challenge question - in a 5x5 roto hold forever league, would you rather have Elly or PCA?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:42
Elly
George
11:42
Nicklaus, in a tight Ottoneu race. Is there anyone still in the minors who could come up this year and have an impact over a decent regular?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:42
Over a decent regular? Probably not
11:43
all of the reasonable impact guys are up
unless Spencer Jones finds a path
RAGBRAI
11:44
Does Milwaukee have enough pitching to get them through the playoffs and focus on offensive upgrades in the next few days? Or do they need both?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:44
No, I think they definitely need to arm upgraddes
spelled with two d's for a double dose of my pimping
11:45
"Hi, my name is Nicklaus and obscure references make me laugh".

11:46
With the Astros being right up against the the tax line and short on high end prospects, who are some reasonable bats they could acquire at the deadline?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:46
Ryan O'Hearn seems like a good fit
but the Paredes injury is brutal
Dumping
11:47
With wins and ratio at a premium in my 5x5 roto league, I just dumped Joe Boyle for Jack Perkins. When Sawyer Gipson-Long returns, should I keep him or Perkins, or try to re-claim Boyle off the waiver wire? Thanks.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:48
I'd rather have Perkins of the trio
RAGBRAI
11:49
Is Crews rehabbing yet and should we expect anything ROS from him?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:49
Not rehabbing yet but seems an assignment is imminent
11:50
reportably able to do all baseball activities
Captain Insano

Hey Nick! Grade the Dynasty trade -- I just dealt Hader, Suarez, Vest, M. Kelly and Boyd for Strider, Snell and Alcantara. I'm in 4th, biggest needs are QS and K's but low shot at winning this year. Guy I dealt to is in 2nd, needed saves badly (could push him over the top and has loads of SP).
Nicklaus Gaut
11:50
It's a gamble trading saves to a competitor at the top
11:51
Like his side more, in a vacuum, but understand your reasoning
Jack
11:52
Can you give us a SP and a hitter that (possibly) stand to gain the most value by being moved at the MLB trade deadline?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:53
For hitters, it's the bad-team guys who might go elsewhere (Luis Robert and Oneil Cruz)
Edward Cabrera if he moves
But Cease's value could jump a lot, depending on destination
11:54
Counterpoint: Cease in the AL East is probably bad
Saver-Matic 5000
11:54
Just lost Felix Bautista to the IL - should I pick up Matt Strahm or Seranthony Domniguez? Not sure who is actually going to get the save opps in Baltimore
Nicklaus Gaut
11:54
I'd grab Dominguez
Maple Maddux
11:55
Would Profar for Soroka be a fair trade? 5x5 with OBP and QS. I have Wood, Anthony, Acuna, and Carroll in the OF and need some help on the pitching side, but without seriously impacting my hitting
Nicklaus Gaut
11:56
It's fair if it fills your roster needs but Profar's value in OBP is far above Soroka's imo
