Ok, so to the extent one can make it happen, you can come in the last money position, 5th place, take home $100-150, leaving you considerably underwater for the year, or you can "play" to come in 6th, which gets you the first pick in the minor league portion of your draft next spring. AL-only, 12 teams, 5x5 w/OBP, 11 keepers, you get the idea. # of minor league roster slots pre-draft: 60. Figure 35 will feature guys still in the minors, so, among the top prospect lists, the #1 pick would be someone like Kade Anderson, George Lombard Jr, Kaelen Culpepper. We're not talking Kevin McGonigle here. WWNGD? Make the money at all costs, cruise into 6th, and if the latter, trade the pick over the winter for a player or more draft capital?
