Keep or drop in dynasty?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:33
drop
Baltimore Chop
11:34
In that vein...NL only - battling for the ring.  time for me to dump Strider and Sandy for relievers the rest of way? Any hope for a turnaround over the next few weeks,  they have been ERA and Whip killers.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:34
Sandy is definitely a good candidate
but I'm keeping Strider (but maybe not starting), if only to keep the competition from grabbing him

Nola should return to Philly this weekend some time.  Rehab starts looked good, but he had unsightly starts/stats before the injury.  Do I trust him ROS? What would you expect for stats?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:36
I'm trusting him -- thought he'd been a little unlucky prior to injury
and definitely starts strong on the schedule front, currently lined up against Washington for his first two

I’m thinking about going after Darrel Hernaiz for my AL Only roto team. He’s young but I see some definite potential. Your thoughts?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:38
I wouldn't get too excited
seems a little Quad-A-y, to me
Guarded Indian
11:39
Is it too early to roster Kayfus?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:39
Yeah, prolly
11:40
30% K% and .350 BABIP says we need to wait a bit
RAGBRAI
11:41
How does McLean do ROS in NY? Does he start rest of the season or get moved to BP due to innings limit?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:41
Like the talent but I can't imagine they'll let him put up a ton more innings
11:42
currently at 113 IP, had 110 IP last year
Dan
11:42
Dylan Crews back today. Activate him and drop Victor Scott III?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:42
yeah, rather have Crews
High King Elessar....maybe?
11:44
5x5 with QS: would you keep Strider next year at $58? $500 budget, 10 keepers. 26 man roster
Nicklaus Gaut
11:44
Ugg, $58 is prolly too steep
$500 budgie tho...
11:45
I'd think I'd lean keep but team context would play a big role
Pete
11:45
How bullish (or bearish) are you on Dylan Crews over the next 3 years? Can he go full (good) PCA or is that too tall of an order?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:46
I'm fairly bullish but PCA-level are too high of expectations
If you can't tell, I tend to be overly cautious with youth until they 'really' prove it
baseball is super hard

For the Mets this coming offseason, what free agents SPs do you see them targeting?  Stearns historically hasn't gone for long, expensive deals for FAs, but that also could have been due to the owner in Milwaukee.  Any particular starters under team control he could target (ie, Joe Ryan)?  Or do they just go crazy and roll with 3 rookies in McClean, Tong, and Sproat? (Seems unlikely.)  And yes, given how the last 2 months have gone, I'm already looking at next year.  *eye roll*
Nicklaus Gaut
11:47
Umm, the cheapest one who is also the most likely to get hurt?

i haven't looked much at the FA class yet, but they'd better hunt for a big fish
Oooh, I forgot, it's actually a good class
let's see...
11:50
Oh man, this has: Zac Gallen, NYM, written all over it

Thanks for all your responses, today and always!
Nicklaus Gaut
11:50
Absolutely!
I have no name
11:50
Any long term concerns with Schwellenbach? Braves say everything should be ok but a guy fracturing his elbow pitching gives Tony Saunders vibes...
Nicklaus Gaut
11:51
No, not really
but also
Never. Trust. Anything. Teams. Say.
