Which potential call up has the best chance to make an impact ROS?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:52
It's the Baltimore boyz
Basallo and Beavers
great buddy-cop team

Do you have thoughts on the "no reliever" strategy in a league with pitching cats: W, QS, ERA, WHIP, K, SV+H?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:53
I'm afraid I've never gone no-RP
I just love 'em too much

Currently have Bryce Miller on my team and awaiting his return.  Would you drop him in favor of seeing what Nolan Maclean has?  Also, do you see Maclean staying up the rest of the season?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:54
Yeah, I'd drop him for McLean
11:55
more of a commentary on Miller tho
McLean is the first in what could be a rotating group of call-ups in the rotation
11:56
IE will probably have the job as long as he can keep it.
starts faltering though, and he might rotate right back out
Mets have a lot of youth to get a look at

Speaking of call ups and not trusting what teams say.  Feels like a lot of call ups are all hype.  Lots of disappointment in the last batch of Baltimore Boyz.  Baltimore should have traded guys when they good, the hype train has derailed.
Nicklaus Gaut
11:57
yeah man, teams with good (perceived) systems start getting a little too high on their own supply
11:58
which, as Biggie warned about long ago, is a commandment that should never be broken

Speaking of liking RP's, would you rather save spec with Cano or Alvarado (xOAK) or get a ratio guy like Whitlock?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:59
think I'd be spec'ing with Cano
Pete
11:59
Any interest in Crawford if he gets the call in Philly?
Nicklaus Gaut
11:59
definitely
if only he'd actually get the call
Who would you stash for next year?
12:01
Rank the following players in order of who you would stash for next year and why? Wetherholt, McGonigle, Tong, Condon. Made, Walcott
Nicklaus Gaut
12:03
Wetherholt (I'm a homer) > Condon (cause Coors) > Made (who doesn't love Jesus with wheels?) > McGonigle (rakes with all-around fantasy skill-set) > Tong (sorry, he's a Met) > Walcott (don't think he'll get on base enough)
Cam Smith
12:03
Smith seems to be wearing down. Not surprising. I think he'll be good, some day - but how good? What do you think his realistic ceiling might be?
Nicklaus Gaut
12:04
definitely wearing down -- brutal numbers since ASB
good player but think he's still mid-ish for fantasy purposes
Alright, y'all -- that's me time
Thanks, as always, for all of the great questions
12:05
We'll see you back next week
Have a great weekend!
