Steve Adams
3:31
Ok, think I have this set up correctly -- still monkeying around with the back end settings. But questions are coming in so I, once again, have bested technology. Let's roll.
Matt
3:31
So do you think the white sox will actually make another move?
Steve Adams
3:32
I do think they'll add another bat to the mix. I love the Latos add for them, though, and if it ends up being the final piece, it's still been a nice offseason for Hahn & Co.
Koh
3:32
Where does Juan Uribe go to?
Steve Adams
3:33
Still picking Cleveland for him -- I don't know why you don't look there if they're interested in a starting role for him. Best opportunity for playing time and an awesome pitching staff to give him a shot at a postseason.

I'm making dinner for friends - mac'n'cheese. I'm thinking about broccoli, red peppers and onion in it. Y/N?
Steve Adams
3:33
Add some bacon into the mix.
Casey
3:33
Thoughts on the Khris Davis trade?
Steve Adams
3:35
I'm not the hugest Davis fan -- seems like a LF only and won't bring the best range in a pretty expansive outfield, though the RH pop seems real enough. Nottingham is a nice add for Milwaukee, as he seems like a guy that can stay behind the plate and hit in a couple of years. I prefer their end of the deal overall.

3:35
One more RP to Toronto? Justin Morneau maybe?
Steve Adams
3:36
I know Morneau has the Canadian connection and all, but there isn't really a clear spot to everyday ABs for him unless they shift Smoak to the bench, which is possible but seems kind of unlikely. Morneau in Houston makes plenty of sense to me but nothing connecting them firmly to this point.

3:37
CarGo, where does he go, and do you think he could impact the Angels?
Steve Adams
3:37
I don't think he's getting traded until at least July. He'd help the Angels, of course, but they can't fit that contract into their current payroll structure without exceeding the luxury tax threshold, and they're not going to do that.
Dexter Fowler
3:38
Why no love for me? I was expecting 5 and 75 million.
Steve Adams
3:39
I'm pretty surprised, given his age, OBP and the season he's coming off. I think 5/75 was aggressive, given the fact that some teams probably preferred him in the corner and don't consider him a true center fielder, but I thought four years and something like $50-60MM was perfectly reasonable. At this point, if he's truly looking at something like 2/20, he's a steal. I can't see why a team wouldn't part with a pick to add Fowler at that price, unless he's hurt and it just hasn't been made public knowledge.

What happened to Gallardo to the O's? Still in the works?
Steve Adams
3:41
Nothing to suggest it isn't. The O's certainly don't want to include an opt-out clause and I'd wager his reps at Octagon are trying to get one included. If he gets anything close to 3/40 at this point, though -- the rumored price -- that's a success. I was far less bullish on Gallardo than most this offseason. I initially pegged him at 3/42, and that felt high to me even. I just don't think he's that good anymore.

3:41
Looking at the Red Sox offseason, what exactly did Dave Dombrowski do that Ben Cherington couldn't?
Steve Adams
3:43
I doubt Cherington would've pulled the trigger on the Kimbrel trade, though honestly, I think the team would've been considerably better off not doing so. I hated that move for the Sox, and I've heard the arguments from its supporters that Margot and Guerra were expendable because they're blocked. That's absolutely true, but if you're going to trade them it should be at a better value than three expensive years of a reliever -- even a dominant one.

3:43
Could you see the Tribe jumping in on Fowler?
Steve Adams
3:43
I think they absolutely should, but the money's probably not there.
KANYE WEST
3:43
I AM MIKE TROUT AND MICKEY MANTLE COMBINED
Steve Adams
3:43
The best part is that I could actually see this being the real Kanye West.
STL
3:44
Do you see any other moves for STL before opening day?
Steve Adams
3:45
Would love to see them add a starter with some experience on a minors deal with an invite. Alfredo Simon or someone of that ilk -- someone with a real chance to make the team. They need the rotation depth. Catcher on a minor league deal and invite is also possible, though there aren't a ton of options in that regard, and Fryer's a decent enough stopgap for a week or two if Yadi needs to open the season on the DL.
Jim
3:45
Why don't the Yankees reach out to Ian Desmond?
Steve Adams
3:46
To play him where? Headley's going to be the guy at third, Didi at short, Starlin at second... there's no real spot for him to play regularly in that infield, and Desmond's not going to sign somewhere without a clear path to everyday playing time.
NL
3:46
Who's more likely to exceed expectations: Miami or Seattle?
Steve Adams
3:47
I think the Marlins have lower expectations (probably unfairly so, but must people just don't take them seriously), so I'll say Miami. I think both can be winning teams in 2016 though.
Thomas
3:47
People talk about Guerrero opt out being a hinderence , is he even worth more if he opts out?
Steve Adams
3:47
I don't think so. If he opts out of the $5MM it's because he had a decent season and can fetch more than that on the open market, in which case, you wish he'd have stuck around. The only way he doesn't opt out is if he's genuinely terrible, and then you're stuck with him at 5 million

3:48
Phillies over or under on 55 wins?
Steve Adams
3:49
Over. They're going to be bad, but it's hard to pick any club to lose more than 107 games. Plus, with Franco, Nola, Crawford (midseason), Herrera, some of the pitching they've acquired in the past year... there's some good young talent there.
Fair Deal Dean
3:50
James Loney, where's he getting traded to?
Steve Adams
3:50
Astros? Rockies? Both guesses -- just teams with "meh" options at first base at present (at least until AJ Reed surfaces in Houston). Rays are going to have to eat half that salary to make him go, I'd wager.
Matt
3:50
Thanks to you and Jeff for doing these on Tuesdays and Thursday's. They're the only reason I survive psychology class.
Steve Adams
3:51
I liked psych in college! Well, minus the endless barrage of lengthy scan-tron bubble tests. The tests stunk -- material was interesting.
Jimmy Salazar
3:51
Will Andre Ethier get traded this SP?
Steve Adams
3:52
Assuming you meant Spring Training -- I don't think so, no.
Roy hobbs
3:52
Guerrero who?
