I could see this happening. Can't say I'd love the fit, though, as the Jays would likely be punting the first year of the contract. They're very unlikely to win anything in 2020.

I could see it. It's not as if Inciarte has an albatross contract. Without looking it up, I think he's owed $16MM over the next two years. Trade value's obviously not high, though.

As respected as Pillar is in the Giants' clubhouse, and as good as he's typically been in the field, a projected ~$10MM is a lot of money in his case. He's, what, a .285 on-base guy? Giants prez Farhan Zaidi values OBP.

If I'm not mistaken, I read something last week about the Jays and Smoak having interest in a reunion. Would be a solid re-signing by the Jays, I think, as it wouldn't cost a lot and Smoak's a prime bounce-back candidate

I've been getting a lot of Story questions. I think dealing him is something the Rox should consider. He's got two years' control left, and I doubt they'll win during that period. Not a bad idea at all. Calhoun's such a solid player, and he isn't going to cost that much if the Angels buy him out
