Connor Byrne
6:34
Still a ways away (probably 3-4 years if everything breaks right)
Eric
6:35
Should the Braves consider trading Austin Riley if Donaldson if resigned? I think his value is higher than most people think because of his age and potential
Connor Byrne
6:36
I don't think there would be a lot of harm in considering it. Maybe dealing Riley would help them land a high-end starter. In the end, though, do I think they'll deal him? No.
Johnny
6:36
How come managers are getting fired left and right but not GMs?
Connor Byrne
6:37
I think Joel Sherman of the NY Post wrote a piece over the weekend suggesting there will be a lot of GMs/presidents on the outs in a year. So ... get ready for that.
Danny
6:38
The next Pirates manager will be ______
Connor Byrne
6:38
Seems like Jeff Banister and Derek Shelton have been the two connected to the job most. The answer is probably whichever person owner Bob Nutting can give less money to #cheapskate
Carl
6:39
Rick Hahn gets the axe if the Chisox fail to be over .500 in 2020?
Connor Byrne
6:39
He's one of the execs who seems to be under pressure going into next year. I actually might write something about this tonight.
Joey
6:40
The Reds claim they'll spend more money during the off-season to increase their playoff chances.  What should spend the money on?
Connor Byrne
6:40
Catcher, middle infield, outfielders come to mind
Tommy La Stella
6:41
The 2020 2nd baseman for the Cubs will be...?
Connor Byrne
6:41
Early guess: Nico Hoerner
Matt Klentak
6:41
Our front office seems to be divided, according to our last press conference. Should we even consider Dusty Baker or Buck Showalter to be our new manager?
Connor Byrne
6:42
(Phillies GM Matt Klentak) - Yes, I think they should be hiring a known commodity. I'd like either of those two (or Girardi) for that job
JP Crawford
6:43
Am i gonna hit well (above average) the next few years?
Connor Byrne
6:44
Well above average is a lot to ask for a shortstop. I like Crawford to at least be a capable starter for the M's, though
Jeff in Akron
6:44
Would the Indians be interested in Jonathan Villar?
Connor Byrne
6:45
Not a horrible fit, as it would allow Ramirez to stay at 3B. Villar's salary may be kind of high, however.
Connor Byrne
6:45
I hate fielding questions about the Giants and taking 20 questions on Rendon and Cole.
Connor Byrne
6:45
You know me well.
Mike The Millar
6:45
Hi Conner.  I'm a little late to the chat.  Is there any possibility of you answering my question?
Connor Byrne
6:45
Yes.
BalbonisImpactedColon
6:46
CC Sabathia a potential pitching coach down the line?
Connor Byrne
6:46
If he wants to be; who wouldn't listen to what he has to say? If I'm not mistaken, he wants to work in a front office role with the Yankees when he's done playing, so he'll at least stay in the game that way
Ryan
6:47
Who is the most underrated player in baseball? Most overrated?
Connor Byrne
6:48
That's tough. I'd need to give it more thought on underrated. Overrated? Maybe Hosmer, who's not very good at all but gets treated like a superstar by many media types
Joe
6:48
After I take over the Angels, I offer Fletcher, Buttrey, Canning, and Marsh to the Cubs for Kris Bryant. Do they take that?
Connor Byrne
6:49
I doubt the Cubs would take that
ALCS
6:49
Will it take all 5 remaining games to decide a champ?
Connor Byrne
6:49
If you're a baseball fan, you can only hope. Who wouldn't want to see these two heavyweights go at it for seven?
WillReuter88
6:50
Will the Orioles keep Chris Davis for all 7 years of his contract?
Connor Byrne
6:50
I seriously doubt it.
Trey Canning
6:50
Who has the best chance to compete with the Dodgers for the NL West Title next season?
Connor Byrne
6:51
Is "Nobody" an acceptable answer? If not, Arizona, but that's going to be LA's division again
Jim P
6:52
Your opinion of John Smoltz as a broadcaster in the playoffs.
Connor Byrne
6:52
I can take or leave him
Chris
6:52
Concerning the question about most underrated: is Strasburg a candidate?  Never lived up to the god-like expectations bestowed on his as a amateur / prospect, has had injury issues, and has played in the shadow of Harper/Scherzer/Rendon, but it feels like his very solid MLB career has gone under the radar.
Connor Byrne
6:53
Not a bad suggestion. Strasburg does seem to get lost in the shuffle these days, despite all the hype he had early in his MLB tenure. Hell of a career either way.
Machiavelli

Do you think the Orioles trade Mancini during the off-season to build up their farm?
