Connor Byrne
6:48
Happy birthday! That would be a rather competitive offer.
Greg
6:49
Do the Yankees go back to old days and sign both Cole and Strasburg
Connor Byrne
6:49
Absolutely not
Steve
6:49
Since we agree the Rangers are light years away from the stros , why don't we hear about Jon Daniels being in trouble
Connor Byrne
6:50
Rangers GM Jon Daniels could be in trouble a year from now if the team doesn't make legit progress
Preller
6:50
Should the padres get Corey Dickerson?
Connor Byrne
6:50
I don't mind the idea
Branch Rickey
6:50
With new front office will Pirates enter FA market ?
Connor Byrne
6:51
Not to any high-paying extent. Still a low-budget team without much chance to win in 2020, regardless of GM.
Scott
6:51
Who has the most trade value on the current Twins roster
Connor Byrne
6:52
I'd have to give it more thought, but probably Polanco
Toby
6:53
You didn’t clarify who Branch Rickey was.
Connor Byrne
6:53
A legend.
David Fletcher
6:54
Do I have all-star potential like my manager says?
Connor Byrne
6:54
It's not a crazy thought if Fletcher can up his offense. He's already a very good player either way.
marlon los ángeles
6:54
do the dodgers sign gerrit cole?
Connor Byrne
6:55
They'll probably be in the mix, but if it's a 7- or 8-yr deal, I don't think they'll be the ones giving it out. Not really their MO.
Connor the GM
6:55
Who says no:(for 2 years of Kris Bryant) Bryant for Pache, Newcomb, and Bryse Wilson?
Connor Byrne
6:55
I don't think Atlanta's trading Pache
Derek falvey
6:56
do the Twins sign Wheeler or Bumgarner
Connor Byrne
6:56
It wouldn't surprise me in the least
Friar Faithful
6:56
Corey Kluber to the Padres would be huge for Padres. Also the Indians looking to shed salary.
Connor Byrne
6:57
I believe the Padres were in on Kluber last offseason, though CLE would be selling low on him now. If the Indians are so bent on shedding Kluber's $ that they move him, San Diego's a logical fit.
Matt_Messana
6:58
Why wasn't Chaim Bloom offered a higher title like GM or president. Chief operations title is kinda a marginal leader title.
Connor Byrne
6:58
Chief baseball officer's an esteemed and rare title. I think the Twins' Derek Falvey is the only other CBO out there.
Dodger hater
6:59
Any chance Giants can shed themselves of Longoria's contract this offseason? Hey, if Farhan got the Braves to take all of Melancon's anything seems possible.
Connor Byrne
6:59
Probably not. Even after a better season from Longoria, he's still just an average, aging player with a lot of $ coming his way.
Tim
7:00
You said the Halos wouldn't be able to sign all 3, but what about 2, Cole and Keuchel?
Connor Byrne
7:00
Maybe if Keuchel has to settle for a similar deal to last time (1/13) or a 2-yr contract in that vicinity
Dave
7:01
Can Milwaukee afford Grandel and Moose
Connor Byrne
7:01
They've got the money for one of the two.
BhamBrave
7:02
Do the Braves re-sign Cervelli? How much would it take?
Connor Byrne
7:02
It wouldn't cost much, but shouldn't they aim higher?
Foster
7:03
What happened to the Nats? They are a completely different team than they were a week ago.
Connor Byrne
7:03
That's playoff baseball (or just baseball in general) for you.
Axl
7:03
What about Adam Eaton to the Yanks given Hicks injury
Connor Byrne
7:04
I don't see the Nats moving Eaton. Yanks can still re-sign Gardner, and they'll have the likes of Tauchman and Frazier around to accompany their higher-profile guys
Joe
7:04
Are the Rays a great breeding ground for front office guys given their success with so little payroll?
Connor Byrne
7:05
Yes. We've seen Dodgers pres Andrew Friedman and now Chaim Bloom come out of there recently. If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere.
Jim
7:06
Is David Cone the next Yankee pitching coach?
