I'd take Cole and Hoskins over 2 mid-rotation guys and a bat (unless it's someone like Rendon, which may be another story). Cole's that much of a difference maker, and Hoskins isn't someone I'd give up on by any means.

Not really a question. But I feel like the Dodgers and Nats this year were further evidence that baseball is all about making the playoffs. Dodgers have been nasty year after year and can’t get it done. Nationals made it, got hot, and won. May encourage teams to just try to contend yearly if possible and anything can happen. Of course full rebuilds will still happen when necessary 🤷🏼‍♂️
