If they sign anyone, a role player type seems likely. They made out rather well in FA last year with relatively modest pickups like Charlie Morton, now a Cy Young finalist, and Avi Garcia

Do you like the idea of Phillies signing Moose? They can nontender Franco and Cesar. Start Moose at third and Kingery at second and then shift Moose to second and Kingery to CF/Superutility when Bohm is ready.

Yes, I do. Moose is a competent starter at 3B, which is more than you can say for Franco, and won't cost a ton to sign.

I could see them make a fairly big SP move (Wheeler? Bumgarner? Ryu?), but landing anyone at the absolute top of the FA market such as Cole, Rendon or Stras ... I'll believe it when I see it.

Seems like either that or a non-tender. I don't think he'll stay with the O's in 2020. Problem with respect to a trade is that are a lot of fairly similar second baseman (in terms of value) now on the market, which depresses his trade value.
