Cueto's option is obviously being bought out, and I wouldn't out him returning on a much lower-cost deal.

SF's options also likely factor in their apparent ability to take almost any veteran hurler and get him back on track.  So they might not invest a bunch of money in a DeSclafani when they might think they can just find 'the next' DeSclafani.

Adolis is controlled through 2026, but is also already 28 years old.  So I can't entirely rule it out, even if I do think Texas will hang onto him for a while longer to see what they have
