"ok seriously?"
7:15
"Think the Cubs lose any leverage from the Bryant grievance?' Don't understand why you waste time answering questions with such obvious answers." I don't know why you answer questions about answering questions.
Connor Byrne
7:15
Here I am answering a question about answering a question about answering a question.
Clay
7:15
Best possible free agents for next year?
Bloom
7:17
Will I still be in Boston in 3years?
Connor Byrne
7:18
Yeah, I expect new chief baseball officer Chaim Bloom to do well there
Fungo
7:18
do you anticipate MLB making any changes this offseason in an attempt to reduce HR rate?
Connor Byrne
7:19
Commissioner Manfred has said on multiple occasions the league will look at the ball, so I expect fewer HRs next season.
Concerned Californian
7:19
What does the A’s outfield look like next year
Connor Byrne
7:20
Laureano (CF), Canha (LF) and Piscotty (RF) for the most part. Maybe a boring answer, but so be it.
Cuddy
7:21
Do you see the Cardinals be interested in both Ozuna and Weiters?
Connor Byrne
7:22
Yes on both counts. Ozuna fits their desire for an everyday outfielder, and they know him well. However, they've indicated they'd like a lefty-hitting OFer. Ozuna wouldn't help in that regard.

Am I crazy to think the Indians are still the team to beat in the AL central?   They’re returning essentially the same 93 win team as last year with a slight upgrade at 2B, White Sox are better but not a 90 win team, and the Twins won’t have the benefit of the super happy fun ball this time around....
Connor Byrne
7:23
No, you're not. The Indians still look pretty good. We'll see what happens with Lindor/Clevinger, though.

any word on the Domingo German situation? could be a big boost to the yankee rotation next year, especially in the playoffs
Connor Byrne
7:25
Nope. Nobody knows anything at this point.
Ryan
7:25
Price for Votto?
Connor Byrne
7:26
Even if the teams wanted to do this, Votto wouldn't sign off on it. He has said he's not waiving his no-trade clause.
Bard Bedard
7:26
OK....here’s a better question....”If you were a hot dog.....would you eat yourself?”
Connor Byrne
7:27
No, Harry Caray, because hot dogs repulse me.
JJWalker
7:27
The Phillies definitely still need a starter.  Would Price be an option if they swapped the bad Odubel Herrera contract and threw in a prospect arm?
Connor Byrne
7:27
Nobody wants Odubel Herrera right now.

Favorite baseball memory of the decade
Connor Byrne
7:28
I'd need more time to think about that, but Dee Gordon's HR after Jose Fernandez died was pretty special.
Chase
7:30
Combined no-hitter after Skaggs' death on the night when the whole team wore #45.
Connor Byrne
7:30
Good answer.
Bob
7:30
um Lugo should be closing in Queens.
Connor Byrne
7:30
I'd rather use him as a possible multi-inning guy
Trout WS 2020

Connor, Happy New Year have a safe one
Connor Byrne
