I have been listening about there being two and three different balls used last year without notice etc…What I would like addressed is the several different balls used as hand me downs to the minor leagues and expect true results from your minor leaguers. I mean there struggles in making the conversion to MLB and now they are messing with all these different balls in ALL leagues is not right. A lot of decisions are made on stats!

I would imagine the teams themselves have to be pretty upset at this, not only the players.  If you're a team trading for a breakout prospect, wouldn't you be upset to learn that his breakout numbers were because he happened to randomly face the livelier ball more often than not?

Will the next CBA address things such as 7 inning doubleheaders, starting with a runner on 2nd in extra innings, etc.?

As per last summer, Rob Manfred said that doubleheaders would return to being nine-inning games.  The auto-runner in extra innings might remain in some form, but perhaps not until the 11th or 12th rather than immediately in the 10th inning

What do the Mets do with Robinson Cano?

I'm sure if another team came along with a nice trade offer, the Mets would have a lot of interest.  But, there are worse outcomes than having Cano back and seeing if he can still contribute.  Albeit in a shortened season, Cano was still really good in 2020
