Would a Will Meyers for Kimbrel trade work? Maybe make it bigger and add Vaughn and Cronenworth to make it a blockbuster
Mark P
7:20
Myers/Kimbrel by itself isn't a bad fit.  I severely doubt the Padres move Cronenworth or the Sox move Vaughn

Kreidler headlines a trade for Gray? Bassit? M Kelly? Any of those guys available for that type of prospect?
Mark P
7:21
Merrill Kelly could be had in a Kriedler trade.  But it'd take more than Kreidler to land Bassitt or Gray
7:22
Kreidler presumably wouldn't be the only player Detroit would move for Kelly, but in a hypothetical package where Kreidler is the best player, I can see Arizona making that move

Do I really deserve the Hall?

Absolutely

How much to trade for Brady Singer? Triston McKenzie?
Mark P
7:24
I don't really see the Royals or Guardians moving either.  That kind of young pitching is too valuable to move, even if neither Singer or McKenzie has really broken out just yet

Is volpe going to live up to the hype? Is he untouchable in trade talks?
Mark P
7:27
The Yankees have been loath to trade any prospect of note in recent years, so I'd imagine that it would take a special circumstance to get them to move Volpe.  An argument could be made that Peraza's presence makes Volpe or Peraza a little more expendable (since NYY would still have a good shortstop prospect left over) but that isn't the way New York has seemingly operated.  They seem more than fine with just stockpiling as many players as possible

Any chance Goldschmidt is traded before the season starts?
Mark P

Zero percent chance

Could the Nationals be a good bit better than people think?
Mark P
7:28
If any of Ruiz, Kieboom, or Gray break out, things will look better for that roster.  But, there are also too many question marks at this point for me to consider Washington a real contender

Does Theo Epstein belong in the HOF? He seems to be good at building a team worthy of contention and then bailing when it comes time to retool.

Ending the two most famous championship droughts in sports history?  Theo is 100 percent getting into the HOF
