Glasnow wouldn't net a premium return himself, given that he'll likely miss all of 2022 and his new team would have him controlled for only 2023.  Packaging both KK and Glasnow together would be intriguing, but I'm not sure the Rays would necessarily see it as the best way to maximize value

I don't hate the automatic runner rule, I just don't like it beginning in the 10th inning.  Preferably, it'd be the normal rules for the 10th, an auto-runner on 1st for the 11th, and an auto-runner on 2nd for every subsequent extra inning

Does a trade surrounding jack flaherty for Gavin lux make sense? Seems to benefit both teams if the right players are included.

In theory, sure, though putting together such a multi-player package would be tricky.  

In general, however, I do tend to think Flaherty isn't staying in St. Louis over the long term.  Doesn't mean a trade is necessarily happening since the Cardinals might just choose to keep him until he leaves in free agency, but all of the contract renewal/arbitration debates makes me think the two sides don't see eye to eye on finances
Rays Are Boring

Rays pitching keep them in games until late inning when they can attack a reliever for runs. They strike out so much theyre boring to watch. With so many arbitration guys, a good farm system, a ton of pitching & an expendable Brandon Lowe, why dont they trade for a few controlled stars that can mash, putting a team in the field that produces rallies  & runs runs that is entertaining for fans to watch?
