How many players can the Reds trade and get a solid return for? I can't imagine we can compete until 2024 at the earliest

Bobby Nightengale of the Cincy Enquirer made a good point in a column this weekend.....the Reds really need to pick a lane, whether it's a rebuild or another push to contend.  Whatever the plan is, they need to stick to it, and not take half-measures like the last couple of seasons.

In this case, when it does seem like the team is at least a couple of year away anyway, why not take the opportunity to reload and score as many youngsters as possible?

will Tork ever become what he was supposed to be?

He's 22, and he has had 298 plate appearances in the majors.  And you're already giving up on Torkelson??

Joe Adells trade value continues to drop by the day.  But all you need is one team that still believes in him.

If I'm another team, I'm wondering if Adell is a change of scenery type.
10:53
If there's any chance the Angels would sell low on Adell, tons of teams will jump on that

Who looks better in black and white: David Peralta or Tyler Naquin?

Peralta would be my pick, if I'm Chicago.

What kind of trade candidate could a package led by O’Hoppe bring the Phillies this deadline?

LOH is the one Phillies prospect I can reasonably see the team dealing, since Realmuto blocks him at catcher, and the Phils probably aren't keen about dealing much from their pretty thin farm system.

To that end, though, if the Phillies are going to move one of their better minor leaguers, it'll be for a player who is controlled beyond 2022.  But, those types of players demand larger trade packages in general, and O'Hoppe along might not be quite enough of a headliner to outbid what another club could offer
That's it for me tonight, thanks for all the questions!
