How is Tebow to MLB HOF not 100% no? Even if he were good enough (big if), he wouldn't have a long enough career to get to that status.

I trust everyone was joking as much as I was.

weiters will get 3 years 36 million in free agency?
Jeffrey Todd
3:12
Sounds a bit steep, honestly. I mean, that's not a huge payday, and really we don't have a lot of comps to work with, but ... I'll guess he ends up on a one-year prove-it deal. Or maybe 3 on a slightly lower AAV. (Something analogous to the Phil Hughes deal?)
(Not necessarily in $$, but in concept)

prado will get 3 years 40 million in free agency? does he get a QO?
Jeffrey Todd
3:13
Going to guess a bit lower, but will be highly QO dependent. He might have to take it if offered. Not sure I see MIA risking it.

I still believe in Heyward for the Cubs. Incredible defense. Several guys struggle in first year with the Cubs. Bat showing life of late with a few adjustments. Still young. Thoughts?
Jeffrey Todd
3:13
Can definitely turn it back around. Talent is there. But they'd have trouble finding a take for the rest of the contract right now.
3:14
Okay couple more and then I'm outta here.
I'll be long gone like a Tim Tebow Tater

I also like answers to questions about the Ms. Any thoughts on doing team specific chats or Q/As? Maybe 10 from each team over a week or as a series?
Jeffrey Todd
3:14
Wish we could, but it is a huge amount of our time.
3:15
I did answer one on M's!

Where does Angel Pagan go next year? How much and how long does he get?
Jeffrey Todd
3:15
He has hit, can't argue with that. Bit older, though ... maybe something between Nate McLouth - Chris Young contracts?
3:16
So 2/10 to 2/15, generally

Who do Twins hire as Baseball President?

No indication yet.

What is a realistic time frame for the Braves to compete? I say 2018 as absolute earliest. Thoughts?
Jeffrey Todd
3:17
We won't view them as a likely 2017 contender buying some really surprising moves. So first possible year they'll be reasonably expected to contend = 2018, probably.
3:18
(How's that for lawyer talk?)

3:18
Is there a left handed reliever out there that makes sense for the Jays to pick up before the deadline is over?
Jeffrey Todd
3:18
Boone Logan still looks like a nice weapon on the market.
Rockies caveat applies - never know what they are thinking

Do I leave to get paid? Or - stick around and help build around a solid core?
Jeffrey Todd

Leave

Just bought my first box of baseball cards in nearly 15 years. The hobby is mostly dead but got the itch to start collecting some new Braves. Do you have a collection you're proud of or continue to bust open new product?
