Corbin Carroll has been in a long enough slump that it's opened the door for De La Cruz, though the sheer number of Reds rookie might split some of the vote.  McLain should also finish at least top five, for instance.

Come on, dude. You really think the Nationals might wait until 2027 to try compete? By then, Abrams, Gray, etc are all going to be in their arbitration years. I get that Strasburg’s contract isn’t ideal, but it’s hardly something you punt the next three years over.

I said they might not go whole-on for big signings until Strasburg's deal is over, not that they won't try to compete before that.  It is also possible that the Strasburg/Corbin signings have soured ownership on the idea of such contracts, so Rizzo's front office will have to take a different approach than their 2012-19 heyday

Reds have got to improve at Catcher in '24 right?

Stephenson has been disappointing, he was a player I thought would be an under-the-radar breakout guy in 2023.

That said, it maybe shouldn't be stunning that he's not in top form after missing so much of 2022.  The Reds could look around this winter for more help behind the plate, but they're probably more likely to give Stephenson another season to see what they have in him

We've hit the two-hour mark, so it's time to wrap things up.  Thanks for all the questions, and we'll be back at some point next weekend for another chat
