Jeffrey Todd
2:20
Doubt it but can't hurt to ask, right?
Michael Dweck
2:20
Hey Jeff hope you are well. What do you think about Alex Wood or Hyun Jin Ryu to Yankees? What would it take?
Jeffrey Todd
2:21
Wood could be an interesting guy to change hands. Dodgers seem likely to go in other directions in the rotation. But Ryu? Who knows if/when he'll pitch again.
Too bad, hope he can get back on track.
Josh
2:21
Who is the Cubs closer in 2017? And what young starter will they trade for
Jeffrey Todd
2:21
Ready for a bold prediction?
Cubs closer: Andrew Cashner
2:22
Pure supposition, but why not? Probably not happening, but given their chatter about not just getting an established guy, should be fun to see where they end up going.
Rays
2:22
With rumors or Archer and Longo possibly being available... Do you see the rays going full rebuild mode as they have so many young solid prospects?
Jeffrey Todd
2:23
No, I don't see Rays entering a full rebuild. Not their style, and they have a lot of guys with 2-4 years of control who they believe will be better. Maybe will trade SP for other needs, though.
Yanks4lyfeomg

Did Brett Gardener's gold glove add value to him this off season?
Jeffrey Todd
2:23
Nope
His glove does, but not the recognition.
Keith
2:23
Let's say that the O's trade Britton. What kind of return would you get? Deleon and Pederson from the Dodgers?
Jeffrey Todd
2:24
That's way steep. Joc is a more valuable asset by himself IMO. Britton is great, but Pederson is a quality regular in CF, with upside and cheap control.
Doh
2:25
I'm so ready for an exciting winter to bring back some positive/happy feelings. I think this election gave me cancer. Give us a bold prediction for the biggest name that changes teams this winter.
Jeffrey Todd
2:25
This made me LOL.
2:26
Biggest name, at this point ... I'll guess Braun.
Andrew K
2:26
What in the world is going to happen to the Tigers?
Jeffrey Todd
2:27
I think I'm taking Avila at his word that it'll go kind of slowly. Trading JD Martinez could well be the only major move this winter. That'd be a big one, but he's a rental at this point. I have a hard time, for various reasons, seeing their other good/expensive veterans being dealt.
Denver Philly fan
2:27
How realistic is it for the Phillies to get JD Martinez from the Tigers? If they also take on Anibal Sanchez deal? How much in that scenario would the Phillies have to give up prospect wise?
Jeffrey Todd
2:28
One year guy of his impact will hold more value to other orgs.
Mets
2:28
Matt Holiday to Mets to platton in LF and 1B?
Jeffrey Todd
2:28
Cuddyer 2.0? Makes some sense, yeah, but I wonder if he's going to want a bigger/clearer role.
White sox
2:29
Do you think the White sox will actually trade anyone ?
Jeffrey Todd
2:29
I do. Most likely are Frazier, Robertson IMO.
Skippy
2:29
Would Hammels be a good fit for Seattle?
Jeffrey Todd
2:30
Could see that. He's a pretty notable addition to the FA market this year.
Rosenthal
2:30
Why are the Cardinals considering the idea of putting Trevor Rosenthal in the rotation when they already have 7 starters?
Jeffrey Todd
2:31
I don't think they really are considering that, though they'll put it that way publicly. He has wanted to try, and it can't hurt much to let him try to build up arm strength and work on pitching multiple times through an order. Upside is if he can pitch multiple innings in a more flexible role from the pen.
JDB
2:31
By the end of 2017 what would you say would have been Trevor Rosenthals realistic role
Jeffrey Todd
2:32
But odds are he'll settle into some kind of setup role that isn't all that different from the norm, so long as he can find the zone again.
Wilson Ramos
2:32
What are the Nationals going to do about their catcher situation now that I will be gone?
Jeffrey Todd
2:33
Hard to guess, man. Wieters makes sense, I suppose. Or they'll have to make do for a while. Very tough market this year. Severino did look pretty good but has never hit in minors.
jake
2:33
What does it take to get Archer? Established SP and 1-2 top prospects?
Jeffrey Todd
2:33
Premium young MLB talent, and perhaps more. He is a hugely valuable asset given his cheap contract.
Dave
2:33
Any way in hell, Yanks could move Ellsbury by paying part of salary or taking someone else's contract?
Jeffrey Todd
2:34
Very unlikely right now.
Paul
2:34
Who do you see the Rockies signing to help out their bullpen? Feliz? Logan?
Jeffrey Todd
2:34
I'm still an advocate for trading CarGo and perhaps targeting quality relievers in a deal rather than trying to get prospects.
