I have heard rumblings of Skip Schuemaker taking the helm for the Cardinals. Have there been any rumors of him being let go by the Marlins?  Maybe a trade of managers is in order?

The Marlins agreed to remove their club option on Schumaker for 2025, so he is almost certainly gone after the season anyway.  It would be fun to see a managerial trade worked out, but it wouldn't be a trade of managers.....Miami would obviously want some kind of player return rather than Marmol

Adell would be a really interesting fit for KC, maybe moreso than Jazz since he would come at a higher price tag in a trade

Maybe it’s just me… but is offense down and pitching up? Seems like every staff has a multitude of pitchers with great numbers, while tons of lineups (even the best in MLB) are filled with guys with OPS’ in the .500s and .600s

You are completely correct.  Even with the caveat that hitters usually do better as the season goes on, pitching has been absolutely dominant this season.

KC's lineup, as presently constructed, isn't good enough to contend even in a pitcher-friendly season.  As mentioned earlier, getting some more offense in the outfield in particular would be a huge boost to the team, and that might help them become a more legit threat.
