What are your thoughts on atkins and the jays bringing back Kikuchi?

A reunion isn't out of the question, but as much as another solid starter would really help the rotation, the Jays have a bigger need for hitting.  No real reason they couldn't do both, of course.

Atkins has done a solid job as GM overall but I have serious concerns over the state of the farm system, and how the big league roster seems to have already missed its window of contention.

Neither is too inspiring a choice.  O'Hearn would be my preference of the two, but then you'd still need a right-handed hitting 1B to spell O'Hearn against lefties

During the offseason.  Teams will pay more for a full season of Helsley than just a couple of months.

I like that fit a lot.  Grichuk is a lefty-masher that nicely complements Detroit's lefty-heavy lineup.
