Thoughts on how Bautista will fair this year. I think he's got a huge chip on his shoulder and will have a monster year. If healthy I wouldn't be surprised to see 35-40HR

Fact that he maintained his plate discipline is a good indicator. And it's not like he totally lacked power. I think he'll prove to be a great investment at 1/17.5.

Them's the rules. I guess in theory it is a competitive balance type of thing, though I don't know the full history. For me, there's enough parity in modern front offices to trust them to make their own decisions ... I'd be in favor of making picks tradeable.

I know you guys have mentioned difficulty in announcing chat cancellations / reschedulings, but it would be nice so we didnt look forward to it and show up at the time and have no clue what happened. Why have we not heard more of Yoshitomo Tsutsugoh? His 2016 stat line in Japan was incredible. He's young and plays multiple positions.

Not familiar but I'll check him out. Remember that the posting fee cap ($20MM) combined with the international spending rules makes it hard for top-flight Japanese talent to make it over before their (lengthy) club control nears its end. Wish that would change.

How much does the WBC mess with the chemistry of a team/line up/pitching staff? I know they all get the (roughly) same reps, but does not playing with the team have any affect?

showing up at x time on the dot it isnt the problem, but sometimes you are late, so we hang around for 20-30 minutes..would be good to know if chat is cancelled or you just delayed so we should hang...and yes, thanks for free chatting! :)
