I like the fit with the Dodgers, who can afford to take a risk here. I still don't know just how much value they'll give back, but I expect Britton to come  at a discount as against what we'd have expected him to command in a deadline scenario entering the season.

Hard to give up the core when you're firmly in WC hunt. I also wouldn't want to punt too much future value. They should be looking for the buy-low opportunities on the market IMO.
(This is all just IMO, of course. Probably didn't need to say that.)

Well, I'm not sure it's the most interesting situation to look at. They are obviously interested in a utility type. Not likely going after a big bat with JDM gone. Probably looking to get by with the existing rotation with Salazar returning. Maybe a lefty b/c of Logan's injury?

It sounds like he's nearing his return, so it might not be necessary, but could a Neil Walker trade look like the Jesse Crain trade to the Rays from a few years ago?
