What's interesting about the Eloy deal is ... how much higher can you go on one of these deals? Obviously you could pay more by making one longer. But on an eight-year term -- which effectively covers 7 pre-FA seasons (since teams can sneak the extra year by holding a guy down for 2 weeks) and one FA season -- how much more can you really promise? Even a wildly optimistic arbitration run, including a Super Two year, would result in something like 60 mil in earnings.
So ... maybe a little more than Eloy for Vladito.

See above re Acuna. Same answer. But you are proposing a longer deal, covering more FA years in which case there'd be more potential money. In all likelihood, the team would be looking at something like 6/70 plus two options that push it past 100 or somesuch. Again, whether the player goes for it or can pull more ... ???

Anthony Rendon will have earned less than 50 mil through arb, and that's including his MLB deal. Great as Eloy could be, I think I'd have taken the under on 43 mil in arb earnings.
