Tucker has a much loftier prospect pedigree than Fisher. Also Fisher isn't a bust. Still just 25 and would definitely get an opportunity with other teams. Not off to a bad start at Triple-A.

It's always dependent upon team and player willingness, which doesn't always match market value (if there's such a truly independent thing at all), but yeah I think so.

Nope, not done. They still have concerns and risks and a tough division. It is obviously encouraging to see things headed in the right division but they don't look like a juggernaut or anything.

Yeah that alone was worth hiring him. I dont know that I'd blame Eppler for those signings. They all made sense in many respects and he kept the risk to a single season. The alternative was spending less on slightly less-good risks, probably. All 3 of those guys got less than we predicted.
