How long a leash do Alford and Fisher have during spring training as both are without options? Who gets let go to open a roster spot for Dolis?

Fisher will get the longer look since he's new to the organization and was someone the current front office acquired themselves.  Alford is someone that could be on thin ice to remain with the Jays

You need to include Urias as a sure thing in that rotation. He isn't part of a "competition" for the 4th spot. He's their number 2 pitcher realistically.

True, I should have made more specific note of Urias rather than throwing him into the mix with everyone else.  Still, given how the Dodgers' rotation is in constant flux, Urias isn't an entirely sure thing

Happens more often than you might think.  

For example, when news of the Vernon Wells-to-the Angels trade broke years ago, I double and triple-checked to make sure I wasn't being fooled by a fake Twitter account

What do you think the Indians could get for Civale or Plesac?  MLB Offensive asset shooting too high?

The Tribe could get a good return for either if they were available, but I highly doubt such a trade happens.  Controllable young arms like Civale and Plesac are Cleveland's biggest asset

The Padres missed out on Betts--so  could they turn to Stanton (if he'd agree)--seems like the Yanks could use a little salary relief--not so much for luxury tax but for in season additions as needed

Why would SD want Stanton after he missed almost an entire season, and might be a mostly-DH type of player going forward?
