Why is everyone focused on Stroman not returning top 100 prospects? The list is practically meaningless and Woods has a ton of upside.

Partially because there's so much hype surrounding these prospects lists, and Stroman was built up as someone who could bring one of those guys back. Again, doesn't mean the Jays got a bad return for him, but it still doesn't seem great.

In a vacuum, you wouldn't think so, but maybe there will be an 11th-hour bidding war Wednesday to drive up the price. Minor's limited no-trade list could be a problem, though.
Minor has already suggested he doesn't want a trade.

I saw the Cubs and O's have talked Villar. What are the chances he gets moved? Do the Cubs make a move to sure up second base or do you think they rely on Zobrist to see what he has left the rest of the way?

Villar's having a decent season and only has one year of control left. If the O's can get something good for him now, they should. I don't if you can count on Zobrist to solve the Cubs' problems. He was awful before going on the restricted list (but that may have been partially caused by personal problems)

The Blue Jays asked the Yankees for Marcus Stroman and/or Deivi Garcia before settling for what they got. You may as well start negotiations high. To answer the question, I kind of doubt it after seeing what Stroman brought back.

Absolutely no chance the Dodgers would do that. Diaz's value is (or should be) down, and Ramos has little to no trade value right now. Smith and Verdugo look like long-term Dodgers cornerstones in the making.
