I live in Hangzhou, China, and we are almost outta the woods. Gyms are reopening, people are not required to wear masks anymore in my city, and school starts back first week of April. We were quarantined for 8 weeks. It was tough, but it did curb the spread of this thing, and we had a lot more cases than there. If people remain as vigilant as they can and stay inside for six weeks, this thing should be over. There's no reason it should last longer there than it did here. Just stay in. Long Live MLBTR! This is good to read. I would happily happily happily take any return to normalcy in 6-8 weeks time, so let's hope this is the case over here

I watched it about 15 minutes after it was released, and greatly enjoyed it. Technically, calling it a "Bash Brothers movie" is maybe a bit misleading, but if you love Lonely Island goofiness, it's a must-watch

With all the negotiations taking place to adjust the season, could some of these idea cross over to the new CBA? Shorter season and longer playoffs?Universal DH, 28 man roster?

It wouldn't be a bad idea to road-test some of these ideas in a shortened, unusual-circumstances type of season, sure

I personally like the idea of a 27-man roster, just to elegantly match the 27 outs in a game

Let’s say ( hope ) we get to at least start ST by Memorial Day . An 81 or 108 game season seems possible then. I love the idea that Spencer Howard might get to play a meaningful role this year.. if this scenario comes to fruition, who else might we see turned loose ? And does this hurt the fringe AAAA guys more ?

It's hard to predict, since Howard may be kind of a unique case. Obviously not every team will just turn loose their top prospects since those players' long-term futures are the most important. Even with Howard, if he isn't pitching great coming out of the hiatus, the Phillies aren't going to force anything with him on their MLB roster

"Few" was overstating it, since I guess he could conceivably be up as soon as this season. But still, Luzardo provides more immediate results and his ceiling also seems awfully high

Worse idea: MLB 2020 Rule IV (first entry) Draft is postponed and combined with 2021 or every one that is draft eligible for 2020 is a free agent and can sign with any team w/in the establish slotting budgets?

MLB isn't going to blow up its drafting process like that. They'll have a combined 2020-21 draft in a heartbeat before ever considering getting rid of the draft process (even for a year) entirely
