There are some pretty extenuating circumstances that would exempt that one from "worst trade ever" discussions, I'd think

top 3 nfl draft picks this year? I know, but hey gotta break rules sometimes....
Mark P

Burrow, Young and Tua will probably be the three top picks, though the drama seems to be if any other teams will trade up into those top three positions

Do you think the Boston Red Sox will rebuild in 2021 and try and build around a core of Devers, Bogaerts, and Benintendi?
Mark P
8:30
Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe suggested this the other day, except with E-Rod as the third member of his core rather than Benintendi.   I can see the logic in the Sox punting on 2020 openly, though I suspect internally they were already more or less planning to do this.

Keep in mind that the Rays never had a true fire sale, they just always keep things churning.  Bloom might try the same in Boston, only with a much larger payroll

Id the HOF ceremonies still on?
Mark P

I believe no official word has come down yet, but I have to believe they'll eventually be canceled
Or postponed

That Lonely Island Oakland A's thing wasn't funny at all. Not really a question, more of a comment.

What's your deal? Why do you keep having so many deals?

And with that, Jerry Seinfeld achieves cosmic singularity

Best arm you ever saw from a right fielder. My choice would be Clemente! with a nod to Dave Parker  and Ellis Valentine, And no am not from Pittsburgh LOL.
Mark P

The great Clemente was a little before my time.  I'd go with Ichiro, Bo Jackson, Jose Bautista
Heinie Manush

Lourdes Gurriel, budding star?
Mark P
8:35
He's been very streaky, but the hot streaks have been so impressive that Gurriel seems to have a ton of potential if he can just be more consistent
Arenado's agent
8:36
Is any possible trade in the future of Arenado to LAD strictly out of the question?  Wouldn't a package built around May and Ruiz be enticing enough for Bridich?
Mark P
8:37
"Not trading within your division" is one of those ideas that doesn't compute from a pure mental perspective, but as a fan, I completely understand it.  Do you really think the Rockies want to see Arenado on their arch-rival for the next several years?  Especially if May, Ruiz, or whomever didn't pan out?

Asking for a friend....... Will Buster Posey be a top 10 catcher this year when baseball resumes? He keeps getting projected as such in most lists...
Mark P
8:40
Catcher is such a thin position that it isn't out of the question, and Posey has had a full year to properly recover from hip surgery.  That said, top 10 might be optimistuc
Optimistic

Do my dodgers really believe that david price will do anything of significance, or was that the Price to pay for Mookie?
Mark P
8:41
Price is still a good pitcher who can help LA's rotation.  It isn't like the Dodgers had to absorb a total dead-money contract for Betts or anything

Time to wrap things up for the evening.  Thanks for everyone's questions, and keep staying safe (and staying indoors) out there
