Connor Byrne
6:30
I'd probably let things play out for a while, see where I am around the deadline and then make a decision on Minor.
Young guns showing off
6:31
Which rookies that have debuted this year have looked the best so far?
Connor Byrne
6:32
Robert, Pearson, Blake Taylor, James Karinchak, JT Brubaker come to mind
David Peterson of the Mets has filled in well
Grayson Wells
6:32
Does Judge earn his second MVP this year?
Connor Byrne
6:33
You mean first? He's never won MVP, but he should be in the thick of the race if he stays healthy

Whats up with Alfaro? Out 2 weeks now
Connor Byrne
6:34
Tested positive for corona. Anyone's guess when he'll be back.
Jim
6:34
Cristian Javier, or is it too soon to tell yet?
Connor Byrne
6:35
Another highly impressive rookie so far. The injury-laden Astros need guys like him and B. Taylor to step up, and they certainly have.
CJ

Next manager to be fired is _______.
Connor Byrne
6:37
Hard to say whether teams will give GMs/managers more leeway as a result of the odd circumstances of this season. But Ron Roenicke has always seemed like a mere placeholder; if Boston's season goes poorly enough, I could see him bounced

6:37
Do you think the Braves are still deep enough to win the division
Connor Byrne
6:38
They're still a good team, but hopefully Albies won't miss much time & they'll need to meaningfully address their rotation at some point. No Soroka, no Hamels, no Felix, Folty outrighted. No one saw that coming when the season was supposed to be a normal 162-game schedule.

Conspiracy Theory: Jim Crane is actually a mob boss. This explains the lack of punishment from Manfred, the guy is scared for his life.
Connor Byrne
6:40
Jim Crane driving to Minute Maid Park:
In all seriousness, Jim Crane should stop speaking publicly. He comes off as embarrassingly out of touch.
Dodger fans
6:41
I think we under appreciate the Dodgers depth!
Connor Byrne
6:42
Well, if anyone does, their loss. That team churns out good player after good player every year.

Best hitter you ever saw live?
Connor Byrne
6:42
In person? Probably A-Rod.
Days of the Bullpen
6:43
How surprised are you at the way the Astros pen is doing?
Connor Byrne
6:44
Pretty surprised with all the problems they've dealt with. I'll mention Blake Taylor again - he's not getting enough credit for how good he's been. Think the Mets miss him?
Barney
6:44
You never saw Bonds?  How old are you?
Connor Byrne
6:44
Not in person. On TV, of course.
Barney
6:45
If Kimbrel just turns into a meh middle reliever/setup guy for 7 more years, does he make the HOF?
Connor Byrne
6:45
I very much doubt it
Adam
6:45
Dustin May?
Connor Byrne
6:46
The question was about rookies who have debuted this year. May debuted last season. No doubt he's a gem.
Canada
6:47
So Canada kicks the Jays OUT of Canada due to covid 19 concerns, but ALL  hockey teams welcome, even EXHIBITION games. Sad, isn't it?
Connor Byrne
6:47
I don't know enough to say. Used to be a massive hockey fan, but the godawful Sabres have sucked the joy out of it for me with their annual ineptitude. Hockey's got two bubble cities in Toronto and Edmonton, right? Seems to be working well.
Willy Mayes Hayes
6:48
Can Hanser Alberto keep it up and be a surprise star for the O's?
Connor Byrne
6:49
For all the negatives about the O's, give them credit for this pickup. Alberto was good last season and has been otherworldly this year. That said, he has no power, almost never walks, and isn't going to keep up a .400-something BABIP
mike t
6:49
yes NHL bubbles are working out well. 24 teams, 0 positive tests
Connor Byrne
6:50
There you go. Thanks, Mike.
Lucas

Can the struggles of many hitters realistically be blamed on the lack of fans? (Even though there is fan noises)
Connor Byrne
6:50
I don't see the connection
Chisox Chupporter
6:50
In December 2020, will we be saying? a) there should be 16 team playoffs every year! That was awesome! b) 16 teams in the playoffs was good once. May it never be so again. c) 16 team playoff was the worst idea MLB has ever had.
Connor Byrne
6:51
Can't speak for anyone else, but I expect to be saying B
6:52
But if the league makes enough money off it, I could see an attempt to keep it around for the long haul
