Depends how much money SF is willing to eat of Cueto's contract, since "a little" is an understatement.  I think they would happily move him for a minimal prospect return if someone ate half the contract, but I question whether such a deal is out there

This is a distinct possibility.  Marcus Stroman's move could be the first of many for pending free agents, unless it's a player who still has to build a stronger platform for himself.

We've seen plenty of MVPs from non-playoff teams in the past, so I don't see why Tatis wouldn't be a big candidate if he keeps hitting the way he's hitting.

This is the last year of Eppler's contract, so the Angels wouldn't technically have to fire him, just not bring him back
Regardless, Eppler's future seemed in doubt before the season, and even given all the bizarre circumstances of 2020, I can see the Halos just moving on with a new front office next year

It's possible, adding a big Realmuto contract has luxury tax considerations.  And I'm not sure if the Yankees are quite ready to move on from Sanchez, his tough start notwithstanding

I'd said in these chats before that I kind of doubt the Yankees will extend Judge, given that they usually don't issue extensions for anyone and Judge is perhaps an injury risk going forward

If Judge were to be open to a more team-friendly price, I'm sure NYY would be more interested, yet I also don't see why/how Judge would short-change himself like that
