Why isn't Austin Hedges getting more hype? He has always been a plus plus defender, and now his bat looks like it's gonna rake? Am I right to think that he's going to be a stable force and shepherd of the young Padres for years to come?

Mostly because he raked in the PCL, which is extremely hitter-friendly. I think he'll get more hype once highlights start circulating of him throwing out runners on the basepaths. Even more so if can hit 15-20 HR.
