Adding big name players puts teams on the mainstream radar. Depth is very underrated. Dipoto has done an excellent job of building depth. Trust me. It makes a big difference over a 162-game season.

Not a lot of 1B/DH jobs left. I'm guessing at least one of Adam Lind, Logan Morrison and Ryan Howard will have to settle for a MiLB deal.

Does greg allen push for indians cf job? Naquin had a hard time hitting fastballs last half of year and especially in the playoffs.

I think Bradley Zimmer is next in line. Allen only has 37 AA games under his belt. Needs another full season in the upper minors, in my opinion.

Still getting the hang of this. Only started it 2 months ago. I just recently figured out that there are multiple pages of questions so I was never getting very far ahead for recent questions. So I'm trying to go back and forth from most recent to earliest questions. Everyone is always welcome to send questions to @mlbdepthcharts if I don't get to it here.

Good question. I think it's Perkins' job when he's ready. Since I don't think that's going to be in April, or possibly even May, I think that has yet to be determined. Not sure Brandon Kintzler will get the job again after his poor finish. There are still a few free agents available who would love a chance to close. Fernando Salas, Sergio Romo, Joe Smith. Or how about Jonathan Papelbon?
