Doesn't look good. But I think the worst (TJ surgery) for any pitcher with elbow/forearm discomfort. So April 2020 would be my guess.

No chance. They took a flyer on him with the hope that he'd pitch well enough to get something back in a trade. Won't be a big return, but more than anyone could've expected.

They need an 8th inning reliever. Last I checked, Dylan Floro was their primary setup man.  Unless you really, really believe in Pedro Baez, who is due back from the DL soon, their bullpen is not good enough.

Why does no one put Kyle Barraclaugh in the same ranking as Britton, Hand, and Iglesias when talking about late inning relievers that contenders may want?

I don't think he's viewed as being that far behind. I'm sure his value is high. Just less of a track record in the closer's role. He had 14 K/9 a few years ago, but only around 10 K/9 the last 2 years. And always around 5.0 BB/9. Still tough to score against. I don't trust any relievers to be good and stay healthy year-to-year, though.

Realmuto is a stud. Juan Soto is the real deal and Carter Kieboom's stock is on the rise. So they have the OF and top prospect depth to make Reyes expendable.
