I don't think he'll get the chance. He's in a great situation, though, as a 4th OF getting regular at-bats against LHP on a World Series contender.

Howdy. How about trading Trumbo to the Rockies and letting Desmond be an OF?

They had a chance to sign Trumbo and passed. I think they're happy with Dahl, Blackmon, CarGo in '17. Desmond gives them flexibility in case of injury or in case CarGo leaves as a FA or if Blackmon is traded.

What are your projections for Shelby miller this year? Tough third start.

I have him bouncing back somewhat ... 4.35 ERA, 1.42 WHIP. Tough to pitch at Chase Field, especially for a guy who doesn't rack up high strikeout totals. I think he'll be better prepared this season, but I don't expect he'll return to his rookie season form (3.06 ERA, 8.8 K/9).

I love that he kind of reminds me of Tom Glavine. That's more visual, although he can paint the corners when he gets into a groove. Not consistent enough with his Glavine-ness.
