Minor gets 1 spot and then maybe you let the in-house guys compete for another spot. If they aren't planning on a rebuild, I can see them going after one of the better free agents. Maybe even Kershaw if he opts out. He would very likely want to play in Texas. But if not, I would expect them to do what the A's did last year with cheap veterans. Might as well just get the same guys ... Trevor Cahill, Edwin Jackson, Brett Anderson.

I think he'll get 4 and maybe even 5 because I think his agent will want to beat Aroldis' (5/86) and Kenley's (5/80) contracts. It's a huge risk, but he's earned it. Whoever signs him will be hoping that he can be Billy Wagner-like in his 30's.

Yes, I would expect someone like that. D-Rob might be the best fit out of all the free agents (aside from Kimbrel, who will be costly). Pencil him as a closer to start the season and move him into the 8th inning spot if Hicks is ready to take on the closer's role at some point.
