I've been wondering about this ... Turner is killing the ball. But I still think they'll take their time. It's not like you're going to expect Turner to just mash as soon as he comes up, and Espi is a good defender. Plus if they hold him down long enough they can tack on a year of control.

What's the weather like where you are?
Jeffrey Todd

Rather nice, by the looks of it. Speaking of which, might just be time to get outside .... couple more and I'm gone!

Any chance Goldschmidt or Stanton are available at the Trade Deadline?
Jeffrey Todd

Exceedingly low.

I can't figure out Justin Turner... Is he a solid building block that they can plug in everyday or should he be back to super-utility?
Jeffrey Todd

He's too old to be a building block, if you're referring to the future, but I think he's a regular on most teams. For the Dodgers, there's more mixing and matching in large part b/c they built the roster that way, and I'd expect that he won't just be run out there every day unless he's raking.

Who's looking like the best bargain deal thus far in your eyes?
Jeffrey Todd

Still hard to argue with Latos, if we're talking true low-dollar bargains, even though I obviously think he'll regress.

Okay folks, I'm going to go out and let the sun fall upon me for the first time today. Thanks for stopping in!
