Rafael Palmeiro was one of them ... sad to see all that's come since.
Darth Vader
3:05
With the Astros slow start, are the Rangers looking even better to lead the Al West?
Jeffrey Todd
3:05
Sure, always nice to stake yourself to a lead.
John
3:05
You always say how many questions there are, but then the same people get three questions in and they aren't such a great quality. Braves gonna draft Corey Ray? That's such a dumb question.
Jeffrey Todd
3:05
Just wanted an excuse to mention the interview series and say I liked how he came off.
Cashman
3:06
Am I worrying about my job as Yanks GM given this season so far and my lack of asset attainment in the offseason?
Jeffrey Todd
3:06
He's lasted longer than anyone, right? Don't see him being pushed out.
JT
3:07
Any thoughts on Curt Schillings incredibly inappropriate recent social media post? As well as his blog rant 2 days ago?
Jeffrey Todd
3:07
I don't understand the man or respect his views.
M.J.
3:07
With what the D-backs surrendered to acquire Shelby Miller. Do you think they could have had Jose Fernandez at the same price?
Jeffrey Todd
3:07
No, I don't.
Shay
3:08
Rockies will likely release Reyes after his suspension. Think he'll get deferred money, or would the Rockies just try and save some money off the entire sum of the contract?
Jeffrey Todd
3:08
Why would he give them money back? They'll still owe the entire thing, less his suspension period.
Adam Steves
3:09
Why do MLBTR chat hosts have first names for last names?
Jeffrey Todd
3:09
Also a problem with our site's two primary writers.
3:10
To make it worse, I have a third in the middle.
Abe
3:10
What do you make of Melvin Upton's strong start this season? He had good season last year, could he go back to being the same player that he was in TB
Jeffrey Todd
3:10
That might be asking a little much as he's obviously older, but he looks to be a plenty useful player.

If AJ Pollock doesn't play at all this year, the D-Backs have to tender him for 5 million for next year, right?
Jeffrey Todd
3:10
Yeah, unless his arm just doesn't work anymore.
Mike
3:11
Braves have strong issues in the bullpen, any chance they makes some improvements their considering what their plan is?
Jeffrey Todd
3:11
They'll pick up or promote cheap veterans as circumstances warrant, but I wouldnt expect anything exciting.
Shay
3:12
Could Rockies look to extend CarGo then? What do you think that'd look like then?
Jeffrey Todd
3:12
Hard guy to value with the injury history. I don't really see them pursuing that, honestly.
Camron
3:13
Out of these names who do you think will go to the hall of fame, Beltre, Rollins, and Pujols
Jeffrey Todd
3:13
Just Beltre and Pujols. Don't think Rollins has done enough.
Todd Jeff
3:14
Should Giants demote Tomlinson and bring up Arroyo?
Jeffrey Todd
3:14
He just got to Double-A and isn't on the 40-man.
Craig
3:14
Brian Sabean is actually the longest tenured GM
Jeffrey Todd
3:15
Well, he's not the GM anymore. But he counts, in a way.
otto
3:15
I THINK Shay meant would the Rox give Reyes a deal like Bonilla? like a 25 year payoff?
Jeffrey Todd
3:15
He'd have to accept it, and it'd have to make financial sense for both sides.
Catcher in the eye
3:16
OK, so the Twins have two catchers who can't hit and nobody in the immediate pipeline. On the other hand, the starting pitching has been nice and probably has something to do with the backstops. Time to explore a return of AJ or a trade for someone? What's your take?
Jeffrey Todd
3:16
You sure they're going to be in a position to buy this year? Braves have no reason to give away a solid veteran behind the plate right now.
dang @Evan_P_Grant
Surgery for bone spur seems likely for Kela. Would mean likely 12 week absence

I've been on here every time and asked many questions every time and never gotten a question answered.
Jeffrey Todd
3:17
Sorry, I'll keep an eye out.
Michael
3:17
Will Adam Wainwright get his groove back? Or is he a pitcher in decline?
Jeffrey Todd
3:17
Decline is inevitable. His velo is down, though I've seen others (who'd know better than I) say the stuff looks okay.

When is turner gonna replace Espinosa
