That whole staff is coming off injury concerns. I'd take Lester/Arrieta/Hendricks/Lackey/Montgomery+Anderson and Sale/Price/Porcello/E-Rod/Pomeranz+Wright at the very least, and probably several others as well given more thought.

Carter seems likelier to be comfortable at one year and something in the $5-7MM range plus incentives. He was cut because no one really wanted him at 8-9 over one year, so his camp has to be realistic.

Napoli still holding out for two. Probably would want $10MM+ for one year.

I mean, I guess Chapman and Reyes found interest despite terrible off-field issues, but Kang's consistent legal troubles don't make him much of an appealing trade candidate, nor do last season's injuries.

Kemp has been 53-55 runs below average over the past three years by Defensive Runs Saved and Ultimate Zone Rating... casually assuming that he can be an average LF because he dropped a few pounds is a leap

I mean, in an open market, sure, but you were stuck going through arbitration either way. I don't get putting the option on the deal just to lock in the three arb years -- not like he was remotely at risk of being non-tendered -- but his earnings over the next three years wouldn't have been any greater without the contract
