The entire staff behind Tomlin is bad. They need to change. Ownership needs to see this. Don’t be cheap and promote from within use this off season and get real coordinators

Thanks Paul. That's a problem there then if Tomlin can't hire his own staff. A basic leadership principle is missing in the org in that case. Really interesting to know who is driving the show. Ultimately that's AR.

I think he has a very large say in it. But I also think there is some influence from above on certain guys. And I think Butler is the perfect flunky/company man to have the title and let Tomlin call the defenses

How can you even imply that the Coach selection isn’t on Tomlin? If Art agrees that Tomlin is so great, why wouldn’t he pick his own staff?

When Cowher was coach people complained and wanted him fired. When Noll was coach people complained and said the game had passed him by. Vince Lombardi would  have gotten heat in Pittsburgh. The fool who called for a boycott would also call for Urban Meyer to be hired because he was a winner in college.
