Hey guys, my question is, first off, thank you for being here and making it to the chat, it's just amazing what you've been able to do.

That Buffalo listing is throwing me off.

Fun fact: Legally, Buffalo and upstate New York are now legally part of Canada.

I'm not ordering Canadian Wings.

A little history, some personal, regarding baseball in Buffalo.  I grew up near Buffalo in the 70s and 80s.  I remember going to a few games at old War Memorial Stadium (where portions of the Robert Redford movie The Natural were filmed).  One of those games I got to see for free because my buddy's dad stopped to help a few guys stranded on the QEW (Cdn highway between Niagara Falls and Buffalo) who turned out to be players for the Omaha Royals; they left us tickets at Will Call.  I saw Darryl Boston play for the Bison's once; then saw him again at the end of his career playing in the independent Northern League in Thunder Bay, Ont.  I believe Buffalo's "new" baseball park opened in 1987 and was originally called Rich Stadium, just like the Bills facility.  When it was built, a lot of hoopla was made about the fact that it was designed in such a way that it could be expanded to accommodate a Major League team.  33 years later, here we are!

About 25 seconds into Brewers/Cubs and we've got a Marlins attendance joke!

I'm a little bummed the Jays aren't going to be playing it Pittsburgh because they would have unofficially been the PBJs and we could have spent all season going "it's sandwich time"

My favorite Tim and Eric sketch was when rainn Wilson was a salesman for an encyclopedia of numbers in numerical order

Fenway and Wrigley have history and I respect that, but I have been to both and neither are the nicest place to watch a baseball game (they get the job done, but relative to other parks they are not nice).

Dan you've never had a Buffalo poutine

Very quick first for Hendricks vs Milwaukee
AvatarDan Szymborski

Is it a poutine with buffalo-style sauce or is it Buffalo's version of poutine?

Is it possible that hitters have a better year with their being fewer distractions in their line of sight?
AvatarDan Szymborski
7:14
Possible. There are so many variables in play
Though I haven't found any relationship between attendance and park factor

I've never had poutine and don't really know what it is
AvatarDan Szymborski

Have you ever had gravy fries? Imagine fries smothered in gravy. And then someone comes in and says "that's not bad enough for your heart!" and pours a bucket of cheese curds over your plate
Eric A Longenhagen

Same in Philly. Villar had an 8-pitch at-bat, otherwise Nola coasted in first.

How many games will it take to get a gauge on how homery the baseball is this year?
AvatarDan Szymborski
7:15
It depends how extreme the change is
The larger the change, the smaller the number of games

Its as salad, but the lettuce is fries, the croutons are cheese and the vierge tte is gravy

On vacation in a house that doesn't have cable. I also don't have MLB TV. So I'm just watching Cubs/Brewers until the O's come on ESPN+. Now this feels like a football Sunday with all these other games going on that I can't watch.
AvatarDan Szymborski
7:18
Watching another game until the O's game comes on sounds like a symptom of depression.
"I'm just waiting to see the O's! And my death."

The curve is something to watch on Hendricks. Looks like he's trying to throw it as a real pitch instead of just get-me-over

Poutine with Buffalo wing sauce exists and it is extremely dope.
