That first-rounder wasn't a back-end top-100 guy. He was more of a 45, which might be a secondary player in a Myers deal.

What team do you think will go most games before winning one?
Craig Edwards
6:56
have to take the Orioles, right?
Tony Wolfe
6:57
It'd help to look at the schedule, but I think the more fun question is how many games it takes before every team has won
Topper Bottoms

^ I've wondered about that before, why wouldn't a rebuilding team take on the Myers contract + a prospect? Free up some $ for the Padres to shoot for another FA and shore up the (pretty bad) offense... Seems to make almost too much sense
Denny T

Orioles might win considering how bad Boston rotation is
Craig Edwards
6:57
Guessing the Padres haven't been compelled to do so.

6:58
they just showed fans standing outside the gate at the Reds game.. why? You can’t even see the game...
Craig Edwards
6:58
Just walking around downtown by the river and got curious, maybe?
Eric A Longenhagen

Hey, everyone.

They seemed like they were there for the game. All wearing Reds gear and whatnot. I dunno. I guess you could be right.
Tony Wolfe
6:59
reds fans are weird
Craig Edwards
6:59
there is a huge tradition with opening day in cincinnati
Tony Wolfe
6:59
and that

Also does it feel to anyone else that the Padres are giving away wayyyy too many young players and not getting much back? They've lost Renfroe, Cordero, Urias, Reyes, Margo, etc. A year or two ago it seemed they were teeming with interesting bats. Now they seem to be thin there without actually adding much impact.
Craig Edwards
7:00
They have gotten back grisham and Trammell in those deals so it isn't like they are coming up empty long-term, plus they are trying to win so Pham and Pagan could help with that.
7:01
they still have tatis jr. and a lot of pitching.

Top 3 beautiful ballparks? I think mine are Oracle Park, PNC, and fenway
Tony Wolfe
7:02
I've been mocked for this opinion before but I think Comerica is underrated
Denny T
7:03
The thing about SD is that I don’t like their targets. Flipping prospects for stars is all good, but they could have gotten someone like Betts with something like Trammell + Urias
Mister Puppy
7:03
Yeah the pitching is definitely going to be their calling card. Striking out on a big signing (Hosmer) and Mejia's outlook somewhat souring will hurt their hitting
Craig Edwards

I've got to run. Thanks for hanging out everyone.
