i agree that they’re rarely on the cutting edge in terms of progressive analytical stuff but stretching Lugo out after he’s been so dominant in his current role doesn’t necessarily seem like something that 100% of progressive organizations would do

He is an accountant (numbers guy) and claims to be a stats guy with baseball too... then tells me to let go of the stats. He doesn’t care about projections and thinks you could sub in any number you want since some guy had to come up with it in the formulas for WRC+ and WAR so it’s all random.
