I think it's possible. It probably depends how confident they are in Cowser.
If they think he's ready to make the jump to the big leagues, then the outfield picture is getting crowded.

Yeah, with Cowser coming, I could see them looking into trading Santander or Hays.

Grayson's much easier right now. All of their other rotation candidates have options, except for Voth.

You're right that there's injury risk with a catcher, but Adley seems so well-rounded as a player.

He can take his walks, hit for some power. The defensive metrics are good. And the pitchers all seemed to do pretty well when he was back there.

Unless you have a strict "never extend a catcher" policy, I think he's a guy you want to hang onto.
Gunnar can hit but hasn't settled into a position yet. Probably makes sense to have a bit of patience there.

Realistic for a Starter trade with Milwaukee? Burnes or Woodruff? Trade from the strong infield depth in the minors, w/ or w/o Santander included to pep up the Brewers' offense?

Sure, the O's definitely have the pieces to get a deal done. Santander could be there but he wouldn't be the headliner.

I think Nimmo's bidding will be won by a team who really wants a center fielder.

With Mullins in center, the O's don't make for a clean fit.
Nimmo has played the corners and could do it again, but a team that needs help in the middle will probably be the most willing to pay him.

He probably won't hold it in the long run, would be my guess.
Coby Mayo is coming and he only really plays third. It makes sense to at least give Gunnar a try at short.

Well, the MLB playoffs are pretty random. Any team that gets in could end up winning it all. I think Atlanta only won 88 games last year and ended up hoisting the trophy.

The Phillies and Padres both looked really bad down the stretch and squeaked in. Now one of them will end up in the World Series. You just have to get in and then anything can happen.

So, by that rationale, I'm calling it now: Baltimore wins the 2023 World Series.
Just kidding, but there's no real reason they couldn't do it.
