They could certainly add on the position side, but they also have lots of internal options.

The outfield is already crowded, even before Cowser arrives.
Catcher is mostly set. Adley will need a backup, but no big deal there.

On the infield, they have Gunnar, Mayo, Westburg, Ortiz, Mateo, Urias.
They could just roll with that group and see what happens. Whoever succeeds gets a job. Whoever fails gets traded.

It would make sense to try, for sure. But it also depends what the player wants.

Rutschman was selected first overall and got a signing bonus above 8 million bucks. He might not be too motivated to lock in money now.

We might not have many locks, but for what they make, and the potential, Kremer and Bradish should have a spot in the rotation. If Grayson does make it out of ST, that gives 3, and 2 spots for a FA, depending on how the team feels about Wells. To me, Lyles complicates that since its 11 million for 1 year. I'd rather roll with Voth and his 2 million, than Lyles and his 11 for that 5th spot.

I've seen it floated that the Orioles should flip Santander this offseason or trade deadline because he's entering his last year of arb and they can save some money. Isn't his arb estimate like 6 mil? And he's a productive switch hitting, corner OF? What am I missing?

It's more that they have a bunch of other outfielders. Mullins, Hays, Stowers, Cowser.

This is probably the most important question, which we don't have the answer to.

100 would be a huge jump since they were under 50 this year. But they've been well above 100 before, so, no reason they couldn't do it.

The O's certainly could go after Correa, or anyone, really. I still think it makes more sense to add pitching, personally. But they have a totally clean payroll and could theoretically sign anyone.

Would Carlos Rodon be a good fit for Baltimore and how many years and money would it take ?

Rodon won't be cheap, probably looking at something in the range of Kevin Gausman and Robbie Ray, maybe even more. Both of them got five years and over 100 mil.
But if the O's want to make a big signing that signals the end of the rebuild, he makes a lot of sense.
