What a terrible feeling to watch PITT-Syracuse in what was once a “can’t miss” game and see it now reduced to empty seats and no atmosphere…hate the Big East is gone. It’s no secret PITT can’t shoot, but how hard is it to recruit kids that can shoot?? Seems like that’s the first skill a coach would check in a recruit.

Well the first item of business for Capel was to get Pitt back to athletically and size wise looking like an ACC team. You have to be able to compete physically. He has done that. The next trick is to find guys who are athletically goood enough AND are skilled and can shoot. Those guys are tougher for bad programs to find because those are the top guys. He just needs to keep grinding and trying to get some of those guts

I'd be happy if Marcus Mariotta was the Steelers QB next season. When he came into the Chargers game he made some nice plays running. Steelers desperately need a mobile QB. What say you?

Marcus Mariota is like the chicken across the bar in dim lighting who looks really hot. Then you approach her and the lighting is better and up close you see she is not attractive at all. He is the kind of quarterback people convince is good and they sign him and get fired. Hard pass. He isn’t any good

Most of them probably don’t even know who those guys are. The guys like Cam Heyward, who have a sense of history do, but most of those younger dude probably think Joe Greene and Rocky Bleier are Tik Tok influencers they never heard of

Paul I think the Steeler fans are the most spoiled in Sports. Would they like to trade place with Jets fans or Browns fans or Vikings fans ? And these people who say "he won with Cowher's team", I mean couldn't you say that about Mike Sullivan or do they say that about Tomlin because he doesn't look like him if you know what I mean ?

When you as an organization say the standard is the standard and that every year is Super Bowl or bust, your fans accept you at your word. The Pens coaching change situations were different than the Steelers.

Based on the comments on MT, how do they go forward or get better? Seems he holds the keys? Who’s grading his papers?  Firing him doesn’t make sense either, a conundrum!

The most important thing is honest self evaluation and self scouting. They can’t double down on some of their mistakes and whatnot. They need to move on from players and coaches who aren’t getting it done
