It is a weird situation. They have two younger guys - Khan and Hunt who they could give the GM spot too. The fact that Khan has been out interviewing the last two years tells me he has probably been told or read the writing on the wall that Hunt will be the guy.

Hi Paul,  Love your chats and insight.  Do you think Canada deserves to be back?  It seems that the last two games have been better... but there seems to be plenty of "questionable" play call selections...  (I keep going back to the flea flicker against KC before establishing any sort of running game.. - why would a corner bite (and he didn't) if there is no reason to see if there is a running play..

He won’t fall that far. As I have said consistently the top four or five quarterbacks in this draft are all very similar - they all have flaws and all are guys with upside but none are considered to be can’t miss. So it is a bit of a crap shoot

I can't get over these people who aren't Tomlin fans. These are the same people who wanted Cowher fired when he had 6-10 seasons and 3 straight losing seasons. Of course they don't remember that. Take a look around the league and you'll see crazy coaching decisions every Sunday. Tomlin does some head scratching stuff too but he wins. What do people want?

Paul, not to get ahead of ourselves but the Steelers have some big off-season decisions to make. What do you make of the strange Dotson and Banner situations? Interesting with Moore out it didn’t seem Banner was even considered to start at LT. Is Tuitt back in 2022? And how do you think the Steelers approach starters like Haden & Schobert?

Dotson was hurt. He will be back. Banner is not a left tackle and they have made that clear. Tuitt is gone. Haden is probably gone. Schobert might be back

I don’t think Neil Brown is the guy. And the program seems to be rudderless right now. I think one of the bit issues is playing in the Big 12 has made it tough to recruit and get any traction. They are so disconnected from the rest of the conference. At least with Cincy joining they have a chance at a somewhat regional rival game

Thanks man. If you are secure in your beliefs and world view you shouldn’t feel so threatened to the point of trying to claim moral superiority when someone has a different view or challenges you. That’s my biggest problem with our current administration - they take the approach that you either agree with them and comply without question or you are evil. That’s not what we built this county on.
