I don’t understand why people are saying the Steelers can’t draft Jordan Davis at #20 because he is only a 2 down player. If he helps stuff the run on first & second downs setting up third & long isn’t that what they need?

I read you (and many others) write multiple times "22 law suits" against Deshaun Watson. Why are so few to pick up on "one attorney" behind all these lawsuits. One attorney who tried to hide the complainants names, who had pressed for criminal charges, and when placed under scrutiny found no charges. Isn't a fame-hungry unethical attorney a large part of this story?

Hi Paul, Baseball is about to begin and so will another year of my indifference. Yes, I am older and I live in a place where it's sunny everyday (Florida), so my interest in sports has been waning steadily (except for football). I even cancelled my ESPN plus package on DirecTV. Is this an end of times sign?

What's your take on transgender women or girls competing in women's or girls' sports?

I think we should change men’s sports to open division and anyone transitioning to or identifying as something different than what they were born competes in that division along with the men. It would alleviate a lot of headaches. But this country we live in is stupid and so I’m sure that makes too much sense

I'm torn about the Steelers trying to get a QB in the draft. I say give MT a chance and shore up the DL ,OL and secondary and maybe get a gem at WR late in the draft. What would you go for in the draft?

Who do you like to reach the NBA finals? Phoenix looks like the prohibitive favorite out west but it seems the East has Miami, Boston, Philly and Milwaukee who could all come out, and maybe a few more. Playoffs should be crazy.

I was fine tweaking the NFL OT rule (also fine with old way as well) but seems stupid to only do for playoff games if they truly believe it is needed.

Last I looked at the future odds - Oakland was 69 1/2 wins over/under and the Pirates are 65 1/2 so let’s go with the sharps and say Oakland will win a few more games! The As will be a playoff team first

Paul, Great columns on PIAA and Pitt this week. The backlash from Pitt fans on Narduzzi’s signing is typical Pitt idiocy. And I am a Pitt fan. Guy gets them to top of ACC and their response is it’s only one. He was due for an extension and had a great year and should be rewarded.
